Multiphysic problem solving

EOMYS brings together a multidisciplinary team of R&D engineers in order to solve some problems where different fields of physics are involved, such as electromagnetics, structural mechanics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics... These fields usually tend to interact in innovative complex systems: that’s what is called "multiphysics".

Based on its skills in numerical simulation, EOMYS can both develop and implement analytical or semi-analytical models, and build some finite-element method (FEM) numerical models. These two approaches represent different trade-offs between accuracy and computing time, and are often complementary within an R&D project.

The analytical or semi-analytical models, once validated by FEM or experimental measurements, can be coupled to an optimization algorithm.
