Optimization of complex systems

EOMYS implements the latest applied mathematics tools in order to find the global optimal design of a system, or post-process a large amount of data (e.g. experimental data of a prototype) to extract the relevant information.

Every design problem can indeed be brought to the simultaneous minimization of several "objective functions", while fulfilling several constraints; they often involve tens of design variables, which sometimes have a different nature (continuous and discrete).

Some specific algorithms are then necessary to find the global set of solutions within a sensible time. Some advanced data post-processing methods can also be useful to interpret these solutions and freeze some design choices.
