E-NVH technical training, Lille (FR), 10-13 Sept 2019

EOMYS organizes a 3-day technical training entitled Acoustic noise and vibrations due to electromagnetic forces in electrical machines (also called e-NVH in automotive applications) in EOMYS office (Lille, France, 1 hour from Paris) on 10th, 11th, and 12th of September 2019.

The training is followed by one additional optional training day entitled Vibroacoustic simulation of electrical machines using MANATEE software in EOMYS office (Lille, France, 1 hour from Paris) on 13th September 2019. Registration to MANATEE software training can be done independently from e-NVH training but some preliminary knowledge of magnetic noise and vibrations is highly recommended. A free one-day MANATEE software license is provided so that each trainee can optimize the e-NVH behaviour of its own electrical machine during the training.

The e-NVH technical training is made for both electrical engineers who want to tackle noise issues in early electromagnetic design stage, and NVH test engineers who want to understand better the physics of e-NVH and learn how to analyze NVH test data for noise troubleshooting. This means that the first training day includes an introduction on the basic working principles of electrical machines, as well as on sound and vibration fundamentals.

The e-NVH technical training focuses on rotating electrical machines used in EV/HEV automotive applications. Both e-NVH and MANATEE trainings are held in English and the slides are in English. More information (cost, detailed agenda, accessibility) can be found in the following document:
