One can see that the permeance/magnetomotive force model (also called winding function model) is as accurate as finite element method for the calculation of the radial airgap field distribution, while the computing time is much lower (a fraction of second for the full time and space airgap flux density distribution).

The slotting effect on electromagnetic acoustic noise and vibrations of induction machines can therefore be considered accurately by MANATEE software.
