The objective of this validation case is to check the harmonic removal algorithm of MANATEE by visualizing the time and space distribution of stator and rotor mmf with and without space harmonics, for both rotation directions of the field.

Results

One can notice that all the winding space harmonics of the stator and rotor magnetomotive forces are correctly removed without changing the fundamental field harmonic, and keeping the rotation direction of the wave.

The same conclusion holds for the opposite rotation direction.
