This project validates an important algorithm of MANATEE: the ability to calculate the variable speed acoustic noise level from a single speed simulation, the "synthesized spectrogram" technique. The validation consists in comparing the noise level of several single speed simulations, and the variable speed noise level obtained from a single speed simulation with synthesized spectrogram technique Input.Simu.is_spectro_synthesis=1. This algorithm includes field weakening effect above the electrical frequency specified by Input.Simu.freq_mains.

Results

One can see that both electrical and vibroacoustic outputs are the same, and that the field wek The synthesized sonagram option allows to calculate the variable speed noise and vibration due to magnetic forces in a few seconds on a 2 GHz Intel Core i7.
