Objectives

This module of MANATEE software specialized in electric motor NVH simulation calculates magnetic equivalent lumped force per tooth or per pole required to perform the magneto-mechanical coupling for e-NVH simulations.

Summary

The effect of Maxwell forces is modelled as lumped load vectors (radial, circumferential, moment) that apply to the tip of stator teeth or in the middle of rotor poles. The lumped load vectors are computed from the airgap flux density distribution including tooth modulation effects.
