MANATEE electromagnetic and vibroacoustic software allows you to synthesize the sound produced by an electrical machine at fixed speed or variable speed (source of electromagnetically-excited noise only, but an additional noise source can be added).
Once the simulation is run the following command launches the sound synthesis:
>>play_noise
The quality of the variable-speed sound synthesis process can be improved using these guidelines. The variable speed sound synthesis can be carried either using the variable speed mode (Input.Simu.is_varspeed=1) or using the spectrogram synthesization technique (Input.Simu.is_spectro_synthesis=1).
