To set-up your winding, there are 3 steps :
Winding Pattern
The first one is to define how your winding is placed in your slot. MANATEE includes several winding algorithms that automatically generate winding distribution. Here is the list of the available algorithms :
- Double layer non-overlapping "concentrated" tooth winding "all teeth wound", orthoradial coil superposition (Type 1)
- Double layer non-overlapping "concentrated" tooth winding "all teeth wound", radial coil superposition (Type 5)
To use one of them, one needs to set Input.Magnetics.type_winding1 to the correct type number.
If necessary you can directly define your own winding connection matrix, or import a winding file defined with Koil software. You can also ask for new algorithms through the contact page.
Winding Circuit Parameters
For the second step, you have to specify the winding parameters according to the following definition (numerical values are just indicative) :
