e-NVH trainings at EOMYS office
EOMYS regularly organizes high level technical trainings on electromagnetic noise and vibrations in electrical machines and on MANATEE electromagnetic and vibroacoustic simulation software in its office in Lille, France (1 hour from Paris). Registration can be accessed on our technical training webpage. There is still some room in next sessions held from 11 to 14 Sept 2019 - for several persons, please contact us for a special quote.
MANATEE parallelization & licensing API
MANATEE e-NVH simulation software now includes the possibility to parallelize different calculations among several Matlab instances. Parallelization can be carried on timesteps or skew slices, speeding up Flux Look Up Table calculation up to a factor 4 on a standard laptop with 4 cores.
We are currently working on a new licensing system to replace the dongle keys by a dematerialized API.
MANATEE fast electromagnetic models
MANATEE software for the electromagnetic and vibroacoustic simulation of electric motors includes fast and accurate electromagnetic models to quickly calculate the airgap flux distribution in early design phase. Some of these models are presented in our ISEF conference publication.
From the airgap flux can be derived several important quantities in the design of e-machines such as back electromotive force (bemf), torque and torque ripple, as well as magnetic force harmonics.
MANATEE electromagnetic models have been recently extended to smooth pole synchronous generators used in power generation applications (coupling with FEMM and permeance / magnetomotive force model):
New recruitments
EOMYS team reaches 10 persons with the arrival of A. Trummer, responsible of communication & business development, and X. Chen, following University Diploma in physical measurements who will help us publishing additional multiphysic data of our e-NVH benchmark testbed.
